Goals for 2019

January 1, 2019 Margaux Fuller
Goals for 2019 | Forever Fuller

It’s hard to believe that 2018 has come to an end.  This year was very special for us (for obvious reasons) & we are so excited to see what 2019 has in store!

I don’t have any resolutions for the new year, but I do have a goal: minimize the “stuff” in our home.

There are two spaces in particular that I would like to focus on in our house this year:  our kitchen & our bedroom (which includes our closet & master bathroom).

Bedroom/closet/bathroom:  I’ve been wanting to have a minimalist wardrobe for a few years now & I’ve decided that this year will be the time to commit!  Since I just had the babies & many of my clothes no longer fit,  I figured this would be a good time to get rid of a lot of my clothes & start fresh with some basic clothing pieces that will last me for years to come.

Our bedroom is already pretty minimalistic; we don’t have a ton of stuff in there & I want to keep it that way!  Our nightstands tend to gather a lot of clutter & I want to try to eliminate that.  Since we are lacking storage now that the babies have come, I would also love to get a new bed frame that has storage underneath.  I really like this one from Ikea.

For the bathroom, I’d like to get some drawer organizers so It’s easier to find my products; I tend to just throw all of my things in a drawer & have a hard time finding what I need OR I leave everything out on the counter.  Also, going through bathroom products/appliances & getting rid of things that I don’t use or that are expired is a must.

Kitchen:  I don’t know about you, but we have SO MUCH kitchen stuff!  From mismatched Tupperware to gadgets to appliances to utensils…there are many things that we don’t use & are taking up a lot of space.  I’d like to go through everything & get rid of things we haven’t used in a long time, things that are broken & Tupperware that has missing components.  Also, getting some built in storage for our pantry cabinets would be really nice to help with organization.

Do you have any goals or resolutions for 2019? XOXO

I’ve just been informed by my three year-olds that they want their bedroom walls painted black. I’m kind of into it! I think Sean will need some convincing, though 😅🖤 they are threenagers, for sure!
