42 Favorite Things

The last time I wrote a post with some favorites was back in 2016…in my very first blog post!  (You can read my “Get to Know Me” post here if you missed it!)

I thought it would be fun to do a “favorites” tag & see if some of my favorites are still the same! It would be even more fun if you copied & pasted your answers in the comments :)  here we go!

1. Favorite ice cream flavor?  Haagen Dazs Coffee

2. Favorite food of all time?  Pizza

3. Favorite soda?  Coke

4. Favorite alcoholic drink?  Not a big alcohol drinker…but I don’t often turn down champagne :)

5. Favorite flavor coffee?  One with a lot of chocolate? Haha

6. Favorite Harry Potter movie?  Love them all! But If I had to choose…The Half Blood Prince

7. Favorite scary movie?  Scream

8. Favorite chick flick?  Bridget Jones’s Diary

9. Favorite TV show?  Too hard to pick!

10. Favorite classic movie?  Some Like it Hot

11. Favorite band or music artist?  Chris Young

12. Favorite music genre?  Probably pop or country music…but I really like all genres!

13. Favorite boy band?  One Direction

14. Favorite state you’ve visited?  Washington is the best state!

15. Favorite country you want to visit?  There are way too many!  But France has always been high on my list.

16. Favorite way to travel?  Airplane

17. Favorite theme park?  Disneyland

18. Favorite thing about traveling?  Sightseeing

19. Favorite breed of dog?  Black lab, of course

20. Favorite season?  Fall

21. Favorite animal?  Elephant

22. Favorite thing about spring?  Green grass & the flowers starting to bloom

23. Favorite wild animal you’d like as a pet?  Hmm…no thank you

28. Favorite age? So far, 28 has been pretty great! (Hey, that rhymed!)

29. Favorite Christmas present?  I’m thinking it will be these baby boys this year! :)

31. Favorite fairy tale?  Cinderella.  But anyone who knows me knows that I love all fairytales!

32. Favorite department store?  Nordstrom

33. Favorite place to shop?  Cuyana

34. Favorite perfume/cologne?  Daisy by Marc Jacobs or Gabrielle by Chanel

35. Favorite makeup you can't live without? Probably a tinted moisturizer or powered foundation 

36. Favorite shoes?  Love my Adidas sneakers

37. Favorite outfit you have?  Frame jeans (how I miss them!) with a Cuyana tee

38. Favorite article of clothing?  Right now…maternity leggings

39. Favorite piece of jewelry? Wedding/engagement ring

40. Favorite thing to wear to bed?  Since becoming pregnant…Sean’s boxers & a soft t-shirt

41. Favorite candle scent?  Bath & Body Works Sweater Weather

42. Favorite holiday?  Christmas or Halloween

27 Weeks Pregnant with Twins

Another week, another update!  This week, I went on a very special shopping trip with my mom & sister (eeeek!) had to get my RhoGAM shot (ouch!) & continued to work on organizing the nursery.  It seems like a never ending project, but I know it will be done/over soon so I’m taking my time & enjoying the process!

How far along: 27 weeks

Genders: BOYS

Total weight gain: 29 lbs

Maternity clothes: All I wear are maternity bottoms (aside from my pajama/sweatpants) & a good mix of maternity tops/regular tops.

Stretch marks: None yet…that I can see.

Sleep: Sleep has been overall better this week. Only waking up a couple of times instead of tossing & turning constantly.

Best moment this week: Seeing my sister find her wedding dress!

Worst moment this week: Having a couple of emotional breakdowns out of nowhere…sorry Sean!

Movement: Still feeling movement, some days I feel them nonstop & other days they are really quiet.

Cravings: I can’t stop eating M&M cookies from the Safeway bakery

Queasy or sick: No nausea, just feeling like I have no more room left!  Hip & back pain are getting worse & worse.

Labor signs: Nope!

Belly button in or out: Flat

Wedding rings on or off: I can still put my wedding rings on, but I’ve been wearing my silicone Enso ring lately because it’s more comfortable.

Happy or moody: A little moodier this week…but still happy :)

Looking forward to: Deciding on names...I have a feeling these boys will be nameless until their arrival! 😂

26 Weeks Pregnant with Twins

I can’t believe that tomorrow these baby boys will have been growing for 27 weeks…that means it’s time for my 26 week bumpdate!

This week, I have really begun to notice how out of breath I get by doing simple things (like walking up the stairs, getting in and out of the car, bending over...😳) it’s getting hard to maneuver this big belly!

How far along: 26 weeks

Genders: BOYS

Total weight gain: 25 lbs

Maternity clothes: Living in maternity leggings when I’m at home.  I have a few maternity tops & I’m still wearing some of my regular shirts…probably not for long though!

Stretch marks: None yet

Sleep: Sleep has been baaad this week.  I’m always changing positions & can’t seem to get comfortable.  It doesn’t help that we have been out of town this week & I left my pillow at home.  I wake up several times during the night & I always wake up feeling sore!

Best moment this week: Seeing this 😍 (we didn’t get a good 3D picture of baby A, but we did get one of him sucking his thumb!)

Worst moment this week: Being in the car for a long period of time. Not good for my already achey back! (Sean is working out of town & Miesha & I made the trip with him!)

Movement: Tons of movement! I will never get tired of feeling them move.

Cravings: Fountain coke...still

Queasy or sick: A little queasy a couple nights this week, but feeling pretty good otherwise.

Labor signs: Nada

Belly button in or out: Flat

Wedding rings on or off: On

Happy or moody: Happy most of the time

Looking forward to: Finishing up the nursery! It’s getting so close :)
